Re: Team for Noriwch?
We need to make a good, energetic, committed start to this game. Norwich will be well up for the battle and will remember how they rattled us at the Boleyn ground. They will exploit any of our midfielders dallying on the ball, dispossess and gain the initiative from the off. Bilic has made many references to slow starts so let's hope this gets addressed and we are not fighting back against a deficit.

and how have the results been?

He's only ever started in up top on his own when Carroll or Sakho haven't been ready.

Some still think playing Valencia as the lone front man is a good idea?

Yes agree that is the likely starting 11 with the possible exception of Valencia as he looked to have suffered a knock on Tues? Carroll or Emeneke might start for him?

We need to win the midfield early on in away games and my hope is that Obiang will now emerge as the key to that. He is the most mobile of our central midfielders and rarely misplaces a pass and closes down well.

Yet another tough game today as they all are but particularly since Norwich are now desperate for points which is why not giving an inch or conceding early is key. Keep them quiet and their fragile confidence might get the better of them.

Adrian
Byram Collins Oggy Cresswell
Obiang Song Noble

I'm pretty certain Bilic will set up this way to combat them and our slow starts

He will bring Carroll them Emmy on to go for the win later!

You do not know why we only have 1 promising 17 year old (with previous league & European experience) to cover 4 well seasoned CB's?? I would say thats exactly the position we should be in, PERFECT...thats exactly what the youth set up is for

Re: Team for Noriwch?
second thoughts I would start with Valencia in place of Carol or Moses
also Sakho should be back, but I would put him on the bench

Re: Team for Noriwch?
I wouldn't mind seeing Antonio and Moses both start, I don't think it has happened yet? Don't think it will today either, unless Antonio plays at RB.

Yeah he's definitely wasted there but needs must let's hope we get someone back.

Maybe Slav will give a defender from the development squad a go!

DukeofDevo ~ I thought Antonio did a great job against Liverpool but not sure how often we can expect him to play that well as a RB
Perhaps he can. Don't see we have too many options in the cup with Tomkins & JOB out

Re: Team for Noriwch?
George Dobson was due to be on the bench tomorrow, but picked up a knock a couple of days ago.

Going to have tO be Antonio I think

if Reid; JOB; Tomkins are all still unfit.

Antonio did a good job against L'pool, team him up with Moses and that right side will be a big problem for anyone.

Re: Team for Noriwch?
whufcroe ~ Ely's not so bad. You could have a little walk round the cathedral while you're there (Have a quick prayer for us even!)

I'm not so worried about Norwich but I've no idea who's going to play RB in the cup. That's a worry!
